The Garage Space along Gasoline Alley was being put to Good Use throughout the 4 Day event. The event allows you to get Up-Close and Personal with the Cars, Owners and Drivers. Like  most Vintage Racing events that I have attended, little if anything is Roped Off. You pretty much have Full Access to anything and everything. Hopefully it will remain that way for future events. Hopefully someone does not do something Stupid to Screw Up the open access at events

Collector Car insurers, Haggerty Insurance sponsored the Saturday morning Car Show. It is an Open Show and it resulted in an interesting mix of cars being exhibited. I believe this was the second year for the Car Show. I can see where it has great future expansion potential. The show area is located right out of one of the turns so your up-close and personal to the Cars and their Awesome Sound as they eat up the track

Part of the eclectic mix of cars found in the Car Show included this Second Generation Auburn Speedster. I did not get chance to talk to the owner, but I believe it is an Elegant Motors Car. If so the Auburn has remained close to home. Elegant Motors was located in Indianapolis, Indiana. They produced a lot of Speedsters in Turn Key and Kit form. It was an Elegant Motors Auburn that originally caught my eye in 1974 and triggered my desire to learn more about and someday own a Boattail Auburn
