RM's Auctions America purchased the Dean Kruse Auction Park several years ago. They have operated their Fall Auction from this vast facility since. All along the way making many annual improvements. Associated Auction events include a large Car Corral and a Parts and Automobilia Swap Meet. The Duesenberg (above), known as the Queen of Diamonds, sold for $650,000. The Duesenberg Convertible Sedan (below) topped the "Queen" when it was hammered "SOLD" at $800,000. Both cars were considered bargains by many

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Clubs Friday Night - "9th Street Gathering"

Labor Day Weekend's Friday Night in downtown Auburn for Many years has been known as "The 9th Street Gathering".  It was established by the ACD Clubs traditional Friday evening Gatherings and Stay at the Historical Auburn Hotel. The "Gathering" like all things do, "Changed". The ACD Club still congregates on 9th Street at the Hotel but now shares the Town Square with Friday and Saturday night Car Shows and Live Music. True there are hundreds more Cars to see but I miss the Old Days when the Classics (the Members and their Cars) owned the night
