The Ault Park Concours always draws some outstanding examples of European Classic and Contemporary Sports Cars. Special recognition was not only given to Porsche this year but also to Aston Martin, the British Company that has been producing Fast Exotic Automobiles for the past 100 years. The Legendary 007 James Bond 1964 DB5 from "Goldfinger" was proudly displayed at the base of the Stairs and Fountain. This was one of the actual Movie Cars. This DB5 007 Car sold at auction in London for $4.7 Million Dollars. Unfortunately my camera battery died before I could click off any photo's of it or any of the other Aston Martins that were displayed
Just as the cars that had garnered Blue Ribbon Status were lining up to receive their Awards a major "OH @#$%" occurred. The Blue Maserati was pulling in behind the Orange Lotus when... I am only guessing,  a Gas pedal was mistaken for a Brake pedal.  The Maserati drove into the back of the Lotus. I suppose that the Maserati could have been fitted with "Toyota Front Floor Mats", but I seriously doubt that was the case. A Very unfortunate incident for both owners
