Besides a Smorgasbord of Fast "Healthy" Food offerings outside there are plenty more Cars to see under the many Circus Sized Tents. As I walked a Lo-Impact Walk while digesting a Giant Deep Fried Turkey Leg, this particular White '57 Caddy Coupe caught my eye . My Buddy had one of these while we were in High School (1975). All of our friends were driving Camaro's, Chevelle's Mustang's and Challenger's while we were "Cruising around in the Cadillac". His High School Sweetheart, who he was going to Marry decided the Caddy had to go. That should have been "A Clue" to my Buddy, but it wasn't... I Swooped in (only to help him out of course) and became the Proud Owner of that '57 Coupe DeVille. I drove it daily and dated my then Girlfriend enjoying every mile of it until I had saved "almost" enough money to purchase a (much used) '66 Corvette. I needed some more Cash, so I reluctantly put the Caddy up for sale. As the New Owner Drove off in Our Cadillac, my Girlfriend was in tears. That was "My "Clue" that I definitely had picked a Keeper

The Red Corvette from the movie  "Corvette Summer" brought back some Good Memories, not that it was a Good Movie by any means, but during the Summer of 1978 Terry Michaelis, of now ProTeam Corvette fame, pulled some strings and arranged to have MGM debut the 1st showing of the movie, "Corvette Summer" in Napoleon, Ohio which was World Headquarters for Terry's Grand Opening of his Brand New Corvette Parts Facility. The Grand Opening was Big, an Over the Top Event with a Corvette parade and entertainment . He had also made arrangements with General Motors to borrow some of their Corvette Concept Cars which were displayed in the Lobby of his new facility.  My buddy (who "Use to" own the '57 Cadillac) and myself were attending the Event. We drove up in my newly purchased (about 10 days earlier) '71 Corvette. We were not there long when my name was called out over the PA that I had won two tickets to sit in at the "World Premier" of Corvette Summer.  We were seated right behind Mark Hamill and Anne Potts, the two stars of the movie. Like I said not much of a movie but a really Good Time. Later that Weekend we saw the Red Movie Car in a motel parking lot. I pulled my New (to Me) Corvette right beside it and took a few photo's. I still have the photo's and the Corvette. We used my Corvette throughout the Summer and well into Fall traveling to Shows throughout the Midwest. 1978 was a Corvette Summer for me
