SOLD! You're looking at a full size Cord 812 Super Charged Phaeton continuation car. She has what seems to be an Oldsmobile 350 cu. V8 with automatic transmission and a brand new lift off soft top. Nice Burgundy Paint with a clean Tan interior. She comes with a full set of Chrome Cord hubcaps in the trunk, but they do not fit the correct 16" rims on the car. The car has been 99% refurbished by an older gentleman, his wife thought it was better for someone else to finish tinkering with it. The man was very particular and has done a great job so far (look at the labeled tags on the dashboard). She only needs minor cosmetics like new window rubbers etc... We think that the car was built by Southeastern Replicars inc. in Florida in the 80's. To the best of my knowledge they only built 8 of these cars. At that time the MSRP was $65,000. It is titled as 1981. The engine runs nice and smooth and she shifts and stops fine. I just received the car and we had a new top installed (Mercedes type cloth), it has the small oval rear window, looks Great! Please do not confuse this car with the 3/4 scale Glenn Pray and SAMCO / Warrior Cords. This car is more authentic in appearance with the tilt head light covers, genuine in appearance bumpers and dash. Priced to sell at a fraction of the cost of an original Cord. Of course this car is easier to maintain and much more comfortable to drive. Price upon request. Please inquire.
