A 1953, the 1st year of Corvette production and 1 of only 300 produced, was displayed in the Museum Dome along with the 500,000th and 1,000,000th production Corvette. These Historical Cars cars were all produced in Classic Corvette White with Red interiors. Also in the Dome are Concept Cars, Styling Cars, one of each of the Indianapolis 500 Pace Cars and representations of each Generation of Corvette build
This is the Only 1983 Corvette in existence and it is still owned by General Motors. Chevrolet delayed the New C4 Corvette until they felt that they had it right. This delay resulted in NO 1983 Corvettes being produced for public offering. The New Fourth Generation Corvette (C4) was went on sale in January 1983. All of these cars were sold as 1984 models. These early 1984 C4 cars were fueled by the Cross Fire Injection units introduced in 1982
