Preston Tucker wanted to build a  Completely New Car. He did manage to build 50 of them before having to close the  factory doors due to never ending allegations of fraud and continuous courtroom battles. The AACA Museum offers a nice collection of 1948 Tucker Memorabilia including this Tucker Radio. Radio's were later given to customers who had ordered the All New Tucker in order to sooth their fears and to calm the long wait for their cars. I suppose it was meant to be proof that their cars were coming. The Radios were to be installed at the delivering dealerships. I have seen them offered for sale. They are quite collectible.
A Neat Atlantic Service Station has been reconstructed inside the Museum. It is a Great Place to Fill Up on Memory's. There is a Drive-In Movie Theater across the street. I believe Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was showing.  Refreshments anyone... I would like a Chocolate Malt, a Chilly Dog and some of them Fries... and a large Cheese Pop Corn too!
