The 2013 Keeneland Concours d'Elegance celebrated it's 10th Anniversary this year. The Featured Marque, the Ford Mustang, celebrated 50 years as one of America's Favorite Sports Cars. The weather was not predicted to cooperate with this years event but thankfully the Rain held off and we were Blessed with lots of Sun and Blue skies

This Red 1967 Shelby GT500 Convertible is a One of of kind Proto-Type Shelby American Styling Car. Convertible Shelby Mustangs were not offered to the public until the 1968 model year. The Car is equipped with some unique trim and accessories not found on the '68 production cars. The car seemed familiar to me when I viewed it and started reading some of it's history that was displayed with the car. I believe at one time this car was being offered for sale in the Volo Auto Museum, (just north of Chicago, in Volo Illinois)

With all of the Mustang Enthusiast' gathered for the Saturday Morning Concours I thought the Mustang Only Parking Corral would be a good spot to find a new owner for my 1967 Red Mustang. I talked with quite a few people throughout the day but none of them were quite ready to take the plunge. Where's the Next Show...
