Mike Linnigs Annual Car Show


Now in its fifth year, the Mike Linnigs “Hot Rod Cruise” was another success. Last years show drew over 500 cars and 4000 people. The Hot Rod Cruise is more than just Cool Cars. Mike Linnigs is known for it’s Generous portions of Fish, Frog Legs and and Fried Chicken at affordable prices. They have been serving since 1925 and it is still family owned.
 
The Car Show is hosted by the Louisville's Okolona Street Rods. The show is open to all cars. There was a little bit of everything… plenty of Street Rods and Muscle Cars along with Antiques, Classics and Sports Cars. There was even a past entry from the famed Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.

The Fall weather was perfect with cool crisp air and plenty of sunshine. The Show is held each year the third weekend in October. If you are in the Louisville area Cruise on down to the river and have a Cold Brewsky and a Hot Fish Sandwich.

The Proceeds go to a great Louisville organization, The Crusade for Children.
Rare 1954 Edwards American, owned by Neil Huffman from Louisville. This Prototype is Chassis no. 1.
It has competed at the Prestigious Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.
