The St. Francis Mission Driven Car Show celebrated it's 10th Anniversary this past Memorial Day Weekend. The show has grown to well over One Hundred Cars. Registration fees are Church Donations only. The event started with a D-Jay spinning early Rock 'N Roll tunes, but this year there was a Live Band, a Good One at that.

The Silver '63 Riviera shown above, caught my eye several times throughout the day. Upon a closer inspection I noticed a "For Sale" sign discretely placed in the back seat. Guess what happened next... Yes, the Riv is now proudly sharing space in my garage and looking quite nice in there.      Hmmm, who owns that Lincoln?

Besides Good Music there is always Plenty of Good Food at the Mission Driven Car Show. The Smokey Pulled Pork BBQ is always worth the wait in line. Add Onions, Pickles and Great Cars and I am in Heaven!

I drove my Glenn Pray 866 Speedster (above) to the Show again this year and from past experience I know that the car is guaranteed to draw a crowd with lots of questions, fortunately a second Auburn Speedster was spotted at the show. It appears to be an Elegant Motors car. It is definitely a Nice One. Local resident, Ron Rudolph is the proud owner. Ron is a member of the KYANA region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). I am sure that he enjoyed all the attention that these cars garner and I hope that he was up to answering lots of questions. The AACA recognizes some Factory Built Replica's of Classic Cars in their "Second Generation" classification.
