Irvin Johns 2nd Annual Memorial Garage Crawl August 2026
I was invited by a friend of mine last year to "Crawl" this Garage and for whatever reason I was unable to do so. After hearing so much about it I was not going to miss it this year. Irvin Johns, known by his friends as "Indiana Johns" was the owner of Suburban Wrecker Service. That was a name I grew up with in the Louisville Kentucky / Southern Indiana area. His Trucks were everywhere. What I didn't know was what a Successful Race Car Driver he was. His Working Shop building is Full of his Racing Memorabilia and quite a few of his Drag Cars. Obviously, beside his love of Cars he loved Advertising and Automobilia. As we walked into the 1st building I could not help to feel like I was at a Mecum or Barrett Jackson Memorabilia Auction - Wow What a Collection

I was told the Grandchildren Love this area and I can see why. Everything in Irvins Garages are in Beautiful Condition		Check out this Cool SINK! No - I didn't leave the lid up...
As we "Crawled" our way to Garage Number 2, we were "Again" totally amazed. This Garage was referred to as the Working Garage. This is where the Drag Racing Cars are parked. Along with the Cars and Work Benches are Irvins Racing Trophies and Awards plus More Awesome Memorabilia and More Neon Signs
