Packard was the Featured Marque at this years Keeneland Concours d'Elegance. The event is now in it's 9th Very Successful year. The weather cooperated again this year with temperatures Cooling off some (down to a chilly 89 degrees) and an occasional light breeze. It was announced that attendance and participating show cars had exceeded all past records. Over 200 cars competed in 18 Judged Classes within the Concours. The Paddock Parking area which is reserved for Car Clubs and Cars of Special Interest was close to capacity. The Paddock actually creates a secondary car show which can take quite some time to view all of the them. Proceeds from the Keeneland Concours d'Elegance helps the Kentucky Children's Hospital
Among all of the Wonderful Packards being presented this year, there were three Packard Darrin's in the mix. I love a Darrin bodied Packard, but my choice of Packard to take home (Dreaming of course) would be the Tan 1933 Model 1001 Convertible Victoria shown below (right)
