This Beautiful 1936 Delahaye 135 Competition Falaschi Coupe is part of the Patterson Collection. The Patterson Collection always surprises me with a New never seen before entry here at Keeneland. The Delahaye is a former Pebble Beach Car. It competed there is 2006. The Designer of this car, Joseph Figoni, is best known for his Flamboyant Coupes and Roadsters that are fitted to Competition Chassis. This is a wonderful example of early French Streamlined Styling

One of only 6 built! This 1935 851 Auburn Speedster was originally built for export thus the Rare Right Hand Drive configuration. The car was being presented by Clem and Mary Lange. Everyone is always asking "What is the square door on the side for"... well now they know.

While at the Mecum Indianapolis Collector Car Auction this past May, a friend of mine was telling me that one of Glenn Pray's personal cars had been purchased by a guy in Lexington, Kentucky. Apparently my friend was right. It was not competing in the Concours, but it looked like it should have been. The last time I saw this car was in 2005 at Glenn's Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Co's Open House. Glenn's Old Speedster is still looking Good

Wells Fargo and Company was one of the sponsors for this years Concours. They had a Very Nice VIP tent set up with Cold Drinks being offered throughout day and some Great Traditional Kentucky Fare being served for lunch; BBQ Chicken, Pulled BBQ Pork, Potato Salad, Slaw, Desert and Large Slices of Chilled Watermelon. A friend of ours, Whayne Porter, offered us VIP Passes for the weekend. We didn't hesitate taking advantage of his hospitality. The Auburn shown below, belongs to Whayne. His Auburn is an 876 Phaeton produced by California Custom Coach. Thanks Whayne!
