Auctions America continues to Improve and Grow their Auburn Auction. The number of cars found in the Auction and the Car Corral seemed to be up again this year. The Swap Meet (Carlisle Events) was Big and Busy with lots of Used Parts and Automobilia

Lot no. 7100 is a 1935 851 Auburn Supercharged Speedster. This Cigarette Cream Auburn was restored years ago and is a past Classic Car Club of America winner. The current owner's father purchased this Speedster in 1980. The paint and interior still shows well with a nice patina. The car would make for a great enjoyable car to own and use for shows and touring. It was sold Sunday for $423,550.00

Some Nice Second Generation Speedsters could be found throughout the weekend. The Metallic Grey Speedster Motorcars version appeared to be in New Car condition. The Standout was Lot No. 5099,  the Yellow Car that was reported to be wearing a Glenn Pray body with a Metal Hood and Side Panels. It was mounted on an original Auburn Frame and was powered by a 351 Ford V8 which was connected to a C4 Automatic Transmission. This car was built with as many original Auburn parts as it took to make it look like  "The Real Deal". Nothing was overlooked; Dashboard with Correct Gauges, Steering Wheel and Column, Leather Seating and Door Panels with correct patterns, the Convertible Top with Side Curtains, Wheels, Hubcaps... It is an awesome Recreation. The price paid for this car reflects just how Nice it was, $90,750.00

More Second Generation Speedsters were parked outside awaiting their turn with Bidders looking for the Car of their Dreams. This Boattail Duesenberg was built by Elite Heritage of Wisconsin. These cars are BIG Cars! The Two Tone Green Elegant Motors Speedster (Lot No. 7126) was in need of some cosmetic work but it still brought $30K. The absolutely Gorgeous Dual Cowl Duesenberg II belonged to my friend JP, owner of Victory Cars in Florida. He brought it to Auburn to sell and I am sure it sold Quickly and brought some Big Money

Why I do not have a picture of it I do not know, but a Blue 866 Speedster (Lot 4170) reported to be the 1st Production Glenn Pray Auburn Speedster built, Vin No. A-866-101. The car was recently advertised on our website in the Speedster Market Place and it immediately sold. The new owner brought it to Auburn to Sell Her Again. It's current owner was happy to pay $51K for the Privilege of owning Glenn Pray's 1st 866 Speedster. There are photo's of it in the "Auburn Sold" section of the Speedster Market Place

Hammer Sold! For $30 Grand		 I do not know anything about this Little Austin Healey other than it was so Cool to look at. It has become an over-used description but I am
sure it will be offered as a "Barn Find"... and maybe it was. I like it!
