Let the Judging Begin! The Gold '69 Continental Mark III is ours. We were competing in the 1960 -1969 American Production Class. Our Mark III is a Nice Car but not nearly As Nice as the 1964 Riviera parked beside us. I have seen this Riviera compete at two other Concours events over the past couple of years, the 2012 Ault Park Concours and the 2011 Concours d'Elegance of America. The Rivera belongs to, ROA (Rivieria Owners Association) members Al and Cheryl Schmidt. The car is Striking with its Rose Metallic paint and White Deluxe interior. It is also Quite Rare being an early Dual Carburetor equipped car

All Good Car Events require Good Food Vendors. The Dayton Concours was no exception. There was a nice selection of "Car Show Delicacies". I opted for a plate lunch from the Louisiana Grill... Wise Choice. The Grilled and Bourbon Glazed Chicken was served with a sizable helping of Red Beans and Rice

Two of General Motors 1953 Sweet Hearts; the Cadillac Eldorado and Buick's 50th Anniversary Skylark. Both cars were Limited Edition offerings for the Wealthy. Unfortunately 60 years later you still have to be Wealthy to Own One. Only 532 Eldorado's and 1690 Skylarks were produced. Two other Classics from GM's Class of '53 is the Corvette and the Oldsmobile Fiesta, again; Low Production Beautiful Factory Customs produced under the watchful eyes of Harley Earl
